I Am the Restaurant GOAT: I Fired My Minimum Wage Workers
Either celebrity restaurateur Lenny Rosenberg is insane and cruel or he knows something we do not. Lenny shockingly keeps firing his own employees claiming the new minimum wage increases are killing him and his business profits. And Lenny insists this is going to happen with business owners all over if the Federal Government implements a $15 dollar an hour federal minimum wage. Effective January 1st 2023 millions of workers in the United States did get more money in their paychecks. The minimum wage in many states has been increased and employees are rejoicing in their Fight for $15. The increases range from 23 cents to $1.50 an hour. California and Washington are over $15.00 an hour. And Washington D.C. is now over $16.00 an hour. And while the federal minimum wage remains unchanged the Biden administration is trying to eventually get that rate to $15.00 as well. Lenny Rosenberg talks to reporter David Nazar.
