I Was Homeless, I Was in Prison, I Was Hired: A Miracle
I was homeless and living on the street with nothing. I lived in a prison cell and had no hope. Life was miserable. I could not find work. No one dared give us a second chance. These are the words of homeless people and people who have been incarcerated and surviving within the criminal justice system. Finding a job is almost impossible given the backgrounds of many of these people. However their lives are about to change. A Southern California non profit known as Chrysalis is doing everything possible to get the homeless and former prisoners into the workforce. David Nazar has the amazing story of how these challenged individuals are finding a new life.
