War on Christianity: “Islamist Terrorists Are Killing Us”

Is there a Christianity Crisis these days with Christians being persecuted for their faith? Ask most Nigerians and they say this is the case in Nigeria, an African country that for decades has witnessed violent massacre, with many Nigerians explaining how radical Islamists keep targeting Christians and Catholics there. And just recently many people were killed in three separate Easter attacks in Northern Nigeria.
For some context…
On Christmas Day 2025, President Donald Trump launched deadly strikes against ISIS terrorists in Northwest Nigeria for killing innocent Christians. The Christian murders reached alarming levels in 2025 and now in 2026. Nigerian journalists tracking the violence document entire villages burned to the ground, worshippers massacred during Sunday services and thousands displaced from Islamist attacks in the northern and central regions. In June of 2025, Islamist militants attacked the village of a bishop just days after he testified before Congress about Christian persecution, where more than 20 people were brutally murdered. And Nigerian Christians say similar assaults in other Nigerian regions have killed hundreds of people in the past year.
This is reporter David Nazar. We travel to Los Angeles and the City of Inglewood to find out more about this. LA has one of the largest Nigerian communities in the US and many of these LA Nigerian Christians say Nigeria is the deadliest place on earth to be a Christian these days. So what exactly is going on there and what is causing all the violence? Listen to this interview and let us know your opinion.
